Myerstown, PA - May 15, 2010 - Kyle Hieber of Langhorne, PA
rockets to his second SpeedSTR win of the season at Grandview Speedway Saturday
night.
Gary Huber (Riverdale, NJ)
a former dirt modified competitor drew the pole for the feature event. Huber
was only making his third SpeedSTR start and would set the early pace of an
inspiring field of 19 STR's with Doug Rose wheeling
the Lowes DR1 close behind. Huber extended his lead as current STR
point leader, Kyle Hieber
was dicing his way to 3rd. By the midpoint of the event Hieber
would role the Bucks County International 66 around the outside of Rose for
second and set his sights on the leader Huber. While the laps counted down, Hieber and Huber were dueling it out for the top spot as
they were approaching a lapped STR. Hieber
masterfully set up the leader using the lap car as a pick and took over the
number one position.

Freddie Rahmer Jr. (Salfordville, PA),
Tyler Potts (Milford, NJ)
and Grandview's
reining Late Model Champion, Brian Shuey were all dicing it out for the top five position. Gallup had weaved his way
from starting 10th on the grid to the fourth position getting by Potts, Rahmer, and Shuey.
Hieber would take the checkered flag collecting his second $800.00
payday of the season followed by Huber, Rose, Gallup and Potts.
