April 10,2010: Opening day at Oakland Valley Speedway turned out to be a great night of racing.Although a cool but seasonable night,there were 90 entries on the charts,including 15 Slingshots.There was also a return of the Junior Champ karts and a very good class of Junior 2 karts,led by reigning Jr 1 Track Champion Colin Belanger,who seemed to pick up where he left off last fall.That will be a very competitive class this year.Jr Stock and the Heavy Class had the most entries.Track condition was excellent and the new banking got great reviews.Thanks to John Diotte and the track crew for a great show last night.
